A roller blind consists of a single piece of fabric wrapped around an aluminium tube that fits into the top of your window frame, either inside or outside the recess. The roller blind is operated by a pull cord attached to the bottom of the blind or a side-winding chain mechanism attached to the tube.

Roller blinds are a perfect choice for dressing your windows. Our high quality made to measure roller blinds are manufactured on a strong aluminium roller tube with an easy to use, smooth sidewinder operation, white plastic chain and a chain cord tidy to assist with child safety.
Made to measure roller blinds are easy to fit, and our universal brackets can be top, side or face fixed. Top fit roller blinds in the recess require at least 50mm and face fit blinds require at least 70mm. All our window blinds come with a three-year warranty.
What is a scalloped roller blind?
A typical roller blind's bottom finish will be straight. This can be sewn, welded, or fabric wrapped. A weighted plastic bottom bar is located inside the pocket.
Scalloped roller blinds are soft and eye-catching and often come with a matching braid to complete the look. All of our scallops are braided on the front alone, and the braiding is done to match the fabric and colour of the blind.
Other roller blind accessories, such as braids, scallops, decorative bottom bars, and pulls, are available as an add-on. Only cordless (spring) roller blinds can be ordered with pulls.
What blinds are best for Children's bedrooms?
Our blinds are always manufactured with safety in mind. In order to provide the safest products possible, we will supply your blinds with the appropriate safety devices. These devices must be fitted alongside your blind in order to comply with the British safety standard EN13120.
Cordless blinds eliminate the possibility of potential hazards; for peace of mind, we recommend fitting cordless blinds in rooms where young children may be present. Use a cordless, spring-operated blind or a motorised electric roller blind to make your blinds child-safe. Our remote-controlled blinds include a single handset, a lithium-ion battery motor, and a charging wire.
Can you replace the chain on a roller blind?
All of our made to measure roller blinds come standard with a white plastic bead chain. Additional colours can be chosen when placing your order.
