With a buttery yellow made to measure blackout roller blind, you can create a bright and happy space. This warm yellow blind brings a ray of sunshine into any room and is the perfect hue for a window shade in your living room.

What are sunshade blinds?

Bella is the name given to our sunshade blackout roller blinds. The blackout coating is colour matched to the face fabric blind and is ideal for creating darkness in any room.

Splash is the brand name for our sunshade daylight roller blinds, which are one of our most popular fabric types since they allow light to filter through while still offering complete privacy. They are less effective at night when the lights are turned on, as shadows can be seen rather clearly.

What are spring roller blinds?

These cordless (spring) roller blinds are controlled by an invisible spring housed within an aluminium tube. The roller blind can be raised or lowered with a simple tug on the bottom of the blind or a pull.

Why you should upgrade to electric roller blinds?

Our battery-operated motorised roller blinds are ideal for hard-to-reach windows. With the touch of a button, you can open and close your blinds, and each motor is easily rechargeable. Motorised blinds are the perfect accompaniment to any modern home, as they are chain-free and child-safe making them great for children’s bedrooms and nurseries.

How to measure sunshade blinds

How to measure roller blinds differs depending on whether they are installed inside or outside the window recess. The only sort of window blind that allows you to order fabric size is a roller blind. This is generally used when you need to cover a specific section of glass or an opening and want the blind to fit outside the recess. The fabric on a roller blind is approximately 34mm less than the finished blind size.

Roller Blinds

A roller blind consists of a single piece of fabric wrapped around an aluminium tube that fits into the top of your window frame, either inside or outside the recess. The roller blind is operated by a pull cord attached to the bottom of the blind or a side-winding chain mechanism attached to the tube.

Moisture Safe

Moisture-resistant blinds can withstand minor water and moisture exposure.

Blackout

Blackout blinds eliminate almost all incoming light. Darkening your room on demand can help improve your sleep, especially useful for people who do not work regular hours. Blackout blinds are also an excellent choice where you require more privacy. If you require total darkness, then please view our range of cassette blackout blinds with side channels.

An additional benefit of blackout blinds is that they can add insulation and block out harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays, keeping your room warmer in cold weather and cooler in the hotter months. This helps you save on energy costs. Blocking UV rays can also prevent your furnishings from fading.

Light Filtering

Daylight blinds retain some privacy while letting in plenty of daytime light. Daylight fabrics are a good balance between complete blackout and sheer fabrics. You can also choose from a huge variety of fabric textures and colours that lend a stylish look to your room while providing sufficient light.

About your sunshade roller blinds

Our high quality made to measure roller blinds is available in both daylight and blackout material made of 100% polyester.  As standard, our fabric blinds are manufactured on a strong aluminium roller tube with an easy to use, smooth sidewinder operation, white plastic chain and a chain cord tidy to assist with child safety.

Sunshade blinds are easy to fit, and our universal brackets can be top, side or face fixed.  Top fit roller blinds in the recess require at least 50mm and face fit blinds require at least 70mm.  All our window blinds come with a three-year warranty.

What is a scalloped edged roller blind?

Scalloped edge blinds are soft and eye-catching, and they typically include a complementing braid for a lovely finishing touch. All our scallops are stiffened and made to match the fabric and colour of the blind and just the front of the scallop is braided.

Braids, scallops, decorative bottom bars, pulls, and other roller blind accessories are available as an optional extra. Pulls are only available if ordering a cordless (spring) roller blind.

Can you modify roller blinds?

Choose a cordless, spring-operated blind or a motorised electric roller blind to make your blinds child-safe. Our motorised blinds are remote controlled and include a single handset, a lithium battery motor, and a charging cable.

Can you replace the chain on a roller blind?

All our roller blinds come with a white plastic bead chain. Chrome can be requested at the time of ordering.
